Protein Rice Crispy Treats Recipe

Serving size: 2-4

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups rice crisps cereal 

  • 1 scoop Equip Prime Protein (we used salted caramel)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 

  • ¼ cup maple syrup 

  • ½ cup almond butter

  • 3 tbsp unrefined coconut oil

  • Pinch of salt 

  • Optional topping: date syrup and cinnamon

  1. Combine almond butter, maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla extract in a small pot over medium heat 

  2. Stir ingredients until fully melted 

  3. Turn off heat 

  4. Add in protein power and continue to stir until mixed well

  5. Add rice crispy cereal to pot and continue to combine thoroughly 

  6. Place in tupperware and pack together by pressing down firmly using spoon

  7. Place in refrigerator at least 1 hour or until hardened 

  8. Use knife around perimeter of rice crispy to loosen from edges of tupperware

  9. Remove lid, flip over and cut into squares (size to preference)

  10. Optional: top with date syrup and cinnamon

  11. ENJOY!
