Banana Creme Brulee Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ​2 ripe bananas

  • 1 tbsp heavy cream

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp date syrup

  • 1 tbsp unrefined coconut oil

  • 4 tsp date sugar

  1. Add 1 and a half bananas, heavy cream, vanilla extract and date syrup into a bowl and mix until pudding-like consistency

  2. Cut remaining half of banana into thin, equal pieces and place flat on top of banana mixture

  3. Heat coconut oil in microwave to melt (~30 seconds), remove from microwave and add date sugar mixing well 

  4. Spread coconut oil/date sugar mixture evenly over bananas

  5. Use culinary torch to heat until sugar hardens and color caramelizes (continuously moving torch around to prevent burning)

  6. ENJOY!
